Browns Coaches were one of the first transport companies in the UK to speficy lap and diagonal safety belts in our new coaches in 1995. The Company believes in investing in its fleet and maintaining vehicles to gaurantee safety and reliability. Browns Coaches felt the next step was to join Simply Safe to jointly promote safety on school transport with BUSK.

Fleet
Fleet of 10 coaches, seating capacity from 19 to 57, under 8 years of age and 3 minibuses with seating capacity of between 14 and 16 seats and all vehicles are fitted with 3 point safety belts.

Drivers
Browns Coaches employ 8 full and 3 part time drivers and all are CRB checked. Drivers are experienced/trained in driving abroad.
Health & safety policy Available upon request.

Training
Drivers trained in on-going CPC modules and have completed training in tachographs, working time directive, health & safety, vehicle preparation & drivers essentials.

Maintenance
In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop managed by David Brown, Chief Engineer. Vehicles safety inspected every 4 weeks.

Insurance/recovery
Breakdown recovery in place with vehicle manufacturers.

Profits are re-invested into business to maintain safety standards.
